Electronic payslips are pretty much the norm nowadays, but just emailing a PDF version or uploading to a HR system does not go far enough in our opinion.
That’s why we developed Elementary, an employee app that bridges the gap between pay, HR and the company intranet, all with the convenience of a web app.
So what's different?
Well, where do we start?!
By creating our Elementary tech from scratch, we were able to go big and create an app that solved lots of the problems businesses and employees experience with having multiple systems and software (often that don’t talk to each other).
So, our idea was to bring together everything employees want to have to hand and build our app around that.

- Ability to securely send payslips info to third parties such as banks and mortgage companies
- Easily view summary pay information such as pay and tax in the current financial year

Elementary is a stand alone solution that can be used with any payroll software.
Elementary is a stand alone solution that can be used with any payroll software. But if you are an Ascend client, we provide the Elementary Employee app pay module free of charge. So your employees can view their payslips and pay documents from their phones.
It’s then up to you to add any other functionality. We have built Elementary to be modular, so you can have just the Elementary that you need without paying for functionality you will never use.
And, as you grow or the business changes, you can always add modules when you need them.
